Refund Policy

Returns

Our refund policy is valid for 15 days for all our products. If 15 days have elapsed since your purchase, we, unfortunately, cannot offer a refund or exchange. Ebooks are exempt from being returned.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with the original packaging intact.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Digital products such as ebooks

For returns, we’ll need a receipt or proof of purchase. Please avoid sending your purchase back to the original manufacturer or publisher.

There might be instances where only partial refunds are applicable:

  • Products showing signs of use.
  • Items not in their original condition or damaged/missing parts not due to our error.
  • Products returned after more than 15 days post-delivery.

Refunds

Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we’ll send an email notification confirming the receipt of the item. We’ll also inform you about the approval or rejection of your refund. If the returned item arrives damaged at our warehouse, we’ll deduct the production and delivery costs from the refund amount.

Approved refunds will be processed, and the amount will be credited to your original payment method within a certain number of days. This can take up to 14 working days.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t seen your refund yet, please:

  1. Recheck your bank account.
  2. Contact your credit card company (refunds might take time).
  3. Contact your bank (there’s often a processing delay for refunds).

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items can be refunded. Sale items are not eligible.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they’re defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same item, email us at contact@takebetterpictures.co.uk with images of the damaged goods, and we’ll discuss the best solutions with you.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive gift credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves and then gave it to you, the refund will be sent to the gift giver.

You’ll be responsible for covering your own return shipping costs. These costs are non-refundable.

If you’re shipping an item worth over £50, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.

Online Private Photography Courses Refund Policy

Our online private photography courses are designed to provide you with a comprehensive and personalized learning experience. We understand that sometimes schedules can change or unforeseen circumstances can arise.

Here’s our refund policy for these courses:

Full Refunds

If you cancel your enrollment before the course starts, you’re entitled to a full refund. Please notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the course.

No Refunds After Course Commencement

Once you’ve started the course (i.e., after attending the first session), no refunds will be provided. This is to ensure commitment and to respect the time and effort invested in preparing and conducting the sessions.

Course Rescheduling

If, for any reason, you’re unable to attend a scheduled session, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. We’ll do our best to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time. However, continuous cancellations or rescheduling requests might result in forfeiture of that particular session.

Course Structure

Our courses typically consist of 5 sessions. It’s crucial to attend all sessions to get the full benefit of the course. If you decide to discontinue after a session, no refunds will be provided for the remaining sessions.

Technical Issues

If there are technical issues from our end that prevent the successful conduct of a session, we’ll either reschedule the session or offer a refund for that specific session.
